So I’m in the “Bay Area” aka the “Peninsula” aka Redwood City, PAO, SJC, San Bruno etc for the next two days and have taken a vow to eat as many taco’s as possible.

So far the tacos I’ve sampled are a polo taco and a carnitas sope. 6/10 at best. The chicken was way better than the pork. I like my pork crispy not in sauce (this pork was cooked in a green sauce). The sope would have been better with whole beans than refried but not an option. I freaking love Mexican cheese.

The Chevy Malibu is good so far. It’s very smooth and quiet. Seems like it was modeled after the 2012 Toyota Camry. It has that turn off when stopped feature, which scared the shit out of me while waiting for a light in a busy intersection. I think they spent all the money on the 7x7 color display and none on anything else in the car. The seats are cheap, like yugo cheep, like Lada cheap. The rear view mirror is not auto dimming, sum that up to things I’ve gotten used to in newer cars.

The peninsula area is full of good chinese food, especially near SFO. Take your Malibu to the Oakland Hills (fish ranch road exit on Highway 24 W) or Mt. Hamilton (near San Jose). The traffic is shit but go to some mountains because they are SUPER great and fun. Redwood City’s a bit boring but explore around!

Last week I did OG Old El Paso tacos. White people food, to be sure, but it brought back memories of childhood.

Make sure you try the fish and shrimp tacos. Absolutely my favorite kind of tacos. I always get them after going to Cars & Coffee. San Jose is a pretty decent place for tacos.

“Tacos” is the pluraluzed form of “taco”; “taco’s” would referring to something possessive regarding the taco. E.g. “These tacos are amazing!” versus “This taco’s texture is perfect for cramming into my mouth in one bite!” Finally, “tacos’” would be plural possessive, e.g. “These tacos’ lack of cheese is distressing.”

They are really cheap, like leterette with plastic weave for fabric. And I’m a 34 waist and my ass hangs over the edge.

I don’t like to make fun of the Yugo because it’s an easy target and a cheap joke - but if there is one aspect of that car that really is outrageously, hilariously cheap, it’s the upholstery.

I hope you get to see and sit in one of these chairs in real life, because they are literally covered in beach towel fabric. That is not a comic exageration. That is what they’re made out of. It may sort of look like cheap suede in this photo, but no. Hand towel texture all the way.
